Happy New Year's!!!
It's always humbling to think back on your life and assess your progression. Semester at Sea was a dream of mine since Sophomore year. I was almost okay with letting the opportunity pass me by because of the challenges it presented financially-- but I decided not taking the leap of faith would be out of character for me =) I am a person who like to plan ahead, execute and plan some more. It would be difficult to be this way for some time without taking risks! Fortunately, I was able to see this dream come true unlike many of my peers--for which I am certainly know could have been me. I am thankful more and more as January 9th creeps closer, for the people I will encounter but more than anything, the better version of myself that will emerge as a result of this once-in-a-lifetime discovery.
